1. Sir William Lawrence Bragg (1862-1971)
Sir William Bragg was an influential physicist and Nobel laureate born in the town of Wigton, Cumbria. Although not originally from Narrabri, he conducted significant research at the Australia Telescope Compact Array located nearby. 2. Mark Donaldson (born 1979)
Mark Donaldson is a war veteran and recipient of the Victoria Cross for Australia, the highest military decoration awarded for valor. He was born in Waratah, New South Wales, which is near Narrabri.
